We are seeking a highly technical Cloud Computing Architect to collaborate with our customers and partners on key engagements. About the Role

This is a customer-facing role that requires travel to client locations and delivering professional services when needed. You will work closely with AWS field sales, pre-sales, training, and support teams to help partners and customers learn and use AWS services such as Athena, Glue, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB NoSQL, Relational Database Service (RDS), Amazon EMR, and Amazon Redshift.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with customers and partners to understand their requirements and create packaged Data & Analytics service offerings.
  • Deliver on-site technical engagements, including participating in pre-sales on-site visits and migration of existing applications and development of new applications using AWS cloud services.
  • Work with AWS engineering and support teams to convey partner and customer needs and feedback as input to technology roadmaps.
  • Share real-world implementations and recommend new capabilities that would simplify adoption and drive greater value from use of AWS cloud services.
  • Engage with customers' business and technology stakeholders to create a compelling vision of a data-driven enterprise in their environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or 7+ years of professional or technical specialist, design, and architecture experience.
  • 5+ years of database experience (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Kinesis).
  • 7+ years of consulting customer-facing, design, and implementation of serverless distributed solutions experience.
  • 3+ years of cloud and on-premise integration experience and integration, testing, and automation experience.
  • 3+ years of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) experience and cloud-based solution (AWS or equivalent), system, network, and operating system experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of software development with object-oriented language experience.
  • AWS Professional level certification.
  • Experience with GenAI.
