**Job Summary:**

As a Bas Applications Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting Commercial Channel and Service Sales Engineers at the COAP, generating estimates and proposal set-up. You will also be responsible for BAS proposals follow-up with customers. Once a project is awarded, you will lead the transition to fulfillment and check order entry to ensure customer satisfaction in manner and time. Additionally, you will actively seek opportunities to face customers to produce BAS orders.

This position requires close interaction with Sales Engineers, Project Administrator/Project Engineer, and customers.

**Responsibilities:**

Coordinate with Sales Engineers in assigned territories to achieve sales quota goals on time.

Develop BAS specifications and proposals in sufficient volume, conduct customer visits, and close negotiations with customers.

Support Sales Engineers in the sale promotion phase to designers, installers, and owners in a technical deeper way.

Send a monthly report (forecast) of the status of pre-projects, orders, and sales.

Develop a business plan for global accounts to achieve full potential.

Maintain high accuracy on scope, BOM, labor, third-party suppliers, and subcontractors.

Lead the transition process (TIP) so order entry can be done by the fulfillment team with the PDS sheet information attached to the file and taking care of delivery time of goods and services.

Validate with Lead Project Engineer so submittal package can be performed according to project specifications.

Track order shipment, delivery, and invoicing with Sales Assistants and the Accounts Department.

Communicate to the Manager any situation or conflict that may cause sales process or ongoing project delay or malfunction.

Conduct seminars with topics related to BAS and ICS for promotion and/or training.

Keep updated in competition moves in order to be able to outsmart the competition.

Take training and self-study as a continuous discipline.

**Qualifications:**

Bachelor's degree in engineering.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret plans, specifications, contract documents, control drawings, service bulletins, technical procedure manuals, equipment specifications, and governmental regulations.

Conversational English.
