**Virtualent is seeking an experienced Accessibility Tester to join our team**

We are looking for a skilled professional to test digital content against digital accessibility standards – set out by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). As an Accessibility Tester at Virtualent, you will work closely with our QA team to ensure the quality and integrity of our internal products.

• **Conduct thorough testing of digital content against WCAG standards**
• Utilize browser developer tools, debug logs, and ADB commands to identify accessibility issues
• **Understand and apply W3C standards-compliant HTML and CSS**
• Test assistive technologies using iOS & Android devices to ensure seamless user experience
• **Experience with Web Accessibility Evaluation Tools is a must**
• Work with assistive technology for accessibility testing (JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver (OSX & iOS) and Android Talkback)
• Familiarity with Deque tools (aXe, Assure/Comply or Worldspace)
• **Proficiency in using ChromeVox, Voice over, and other assistive tools**
• Test Mobile apps for accessibility to ensure a barrier-free experience
• **Create detailed documents and write clear bug reports**
• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS, JavaScript and iOS/Android development best practices
• **Advanced proficiency in English is required**

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• **Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Accessibility Tester or similar role**
• Understanding of WCAG standards and accessibility best practices
• Excellent communication skills
• **Ability to work independently and in a team environment**
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
