We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Reliability Engineer to join our team at Oracle. As a key member of our global Cloud Strategic Solutions Engineering team, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and operating cutting-edge cloud systems built on Oracle technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy and support cloud services in new regions, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures/documentation to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Provide escalation support for database and cloud infrastructure-related issues, working closely with cross-functional teams to resolve complex problems.
- Collaborate with Product Development teams to improve product quality and provide feedback on technical solutions.
- Design, implement, and support high-performance and large-scale systems, leveraging expertise in virtualization solutions, cloud services, and Linux-based OS internals.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure, virtualization solutions, and Linux-based OS internals.
- Experience with agile processes, CI/CD practices, and configuration management tools.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, and SQL/PL/SQL.
- Ability to accurately estimate efforts and deliver on time, with strong communication and analytical skills.
- Experience with troubleshooting network services, internet protocols, and security fundamentals.
