The Supply Chain Cost Analyst will play a critical role in managing product cost across all Company hardware and providing insights to the leadership team. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Sourcing, and Internal or External Factory Operations, to collect, analyze, and summarize cost information for financial planning and new product development.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee cost management activities to provide regular cost roll-ups for existing products.
- Analyze detailed, itemized BOM costs for multiple products to provide meaningful insights for stakeholders.
- Collect cost information and projections from the Sourcing team to develop a comprehensive cost database.
- Conduct ad hoc cost analysis for future product ideas based on internal cost databases and external resources.
- Identify cost reduction opportunities and risks with a data-driven approach.
- Collect and review market intelligence and generate insights for stakeholders.
- Refine existing cost management processes and tools to scale the business and meet cross-functional requirements.
- Enable new business processes for future supply chain needs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or equivalent (MBA preferred).
- 7+ years of work experience in Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, or related disciplines.
- Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, PLM systems, and ERP.
- Program management and cross-functional teamwork experience.
- Experience with high-volume, consumer electronics products.
- Direct experience in cost/data analytics functions.
