We are seeking an experienced Electromechanical Design Engineer to join our team at Siemens Energy. As an Electromechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical substations and high voltage network systems.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and analyze customer technical requirements and verify with standard or innovative product portfolio solutions.
  • Design and engineer high voltage substations, including GIS and AIS systems, for international projects.
  • Design switchgear layout for customer concepts and create technical offers and order documentation.
  • Use 2-D/3-D engineering tools to create one-line diagrams, substation layouts, and technical calculations.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure technical clarity and compliance.
  • Control product costs, time schedules, and technical quality.
  • Contribute to process optimization and ensure adherence to company protocols and policies.

**Requirements**

  • University degree in electrical or electromechanical engineering.
  • At least 5 years of experience in design and coordination of electrical substation projects and high voltage network systems.
  • Knowledge of international and national technical standards, such as IEC, IEEE, NOM, NMX, CFE, and PEMEX.
  • Intermediate English language skills for reading and interpreting international specifications.
  • Experience with 3D CAD, CAE, and Office 365 tools.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 70% of the time.
