Key Responsibilities- Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and leadership to a team of software engineers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality Android applications that meet business requirements.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams, including Software Engineers, UX/UI, Quality Engineers, Product Owners/Analysts, to deliver customer-centric experiences that are engaging, purposeful, and powerful in their simplicity.
- Agile Methodologies: Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, contributing to ensure that all team commitments are delivered on time and of the highest quality.
- Mobile Platform Advocacy: Be an active advocate of the mobile platform through both internal and external developer communities.
- Technical Expertise: Remain an active learner in all technologies related to mobile development (Kotlin, Swift, 3rd party libraries, etc.).
- Mentorship: Mentor junior to mid-level members of the team.
- Team Leadership: Grow and provide SME-level leadership while managing a team of mobile developers.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree.
- Experience: At least 8 years of professional software engineering experience (Internship experience does not apply).
- People Management: At least 4 years of people management experience.
- Android Experience: At least 4 years of experience building Android applications.
- Kotlin Experience: At least 3 years of experience with Kotlin.
