Job Title: DevOps Engineer

LaPieza is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team in LATAM. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our SaaS applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement efficient CI/CD pipelines for our production SaaS applications.
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of our SaaS infrastructure to ensure high uptime and responsiveness.
  • Develop and maintain web-based operational reports, manage dashboards, and set up alerts to ensure timely issue resolution.
  • Write and maintain scripts and applications using Python to automate tasks and improve efficiency.
  • Establish quality gates and build automated testing tools to ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve production issues and improve overall system performance.
  • Identify and log bugs for future resolution.

Essential Skills/Qualifications:

  • Proficient in CI tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab.
  • Strong expertise in Terraform and AWS Cloud services.
  • Solid background in Python and Linux (experience with C/C++ is advantageous).
  • Competent in shell scripting.
  • Experience with development on Linux environments.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset in a startup setting.
  • Proficient in English.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
