About the Role:
As a trusted member of the Information Technology Services team at MX012 Oliver Wyman Servicios, S. de R.L. de C.V., the Security Controls & Risk Analyst ensures that information security of the company within our infrastructure, applications, and business processes is continuously improved.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the implementation and management of security and privacy initiatives to protect the company's assets and data.
- Assist in conducting security risk assessments and reviews to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities, and evaluate their potential impact on the organization.
- Contribute to the development, implementation, and monitoring of risk mitigation plans to address identified security risks and ensure continuous improvement of the security compliance.
- Maintain and update the organization's risk register, ensuring it is up-to-date and accurately reflects the current risk landscape.
- Collaborate with various teams to integrate security and risk management practices into their operational processes.
- Assist in annual review of security policies, standards, and procedures.
- Provide advice and guidance on information security matters to IT teams and business stakeholders.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations on security and risk topics to senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations for decision-making.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
- English fluency (spoken & written) REQUIRED.
- Professional security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or similar are highly desirable.
- A minimum of 3-7 years of experience in information security, with a focus on security risk management.
- Strong understanding of security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001), regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA), and best practices.
- Proven experience in leading security projects and initiatives.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex situations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex security concepts to a non-technical audience.
- Experience with security technologies (e.g., EDR, SIEM, SASE) and risk assessment tools.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
