About the Role

Carrier is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead our team in Mexico. This role is responsible for supporting Commercial Fire Controllership activities, ensuring accurate and timely consolidation of financial results, and compliance with US GAAP reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support accounting and controls activities for our Mexico manufacturing facility.
  • Ensure accurate and timely consolidation of financial results, closing of financial statements, and compliance activities.
  • Confirm procedures and controls are in alignment with US GAAP reporting requirements and Corporate policies.
  • Directs and reviews results with Finance Operations, provides analysis of balance sheet impacts for decision making.
  • Manage and coach direct reports and support their growth and development through timely performance feedback and training.
Requirements:

We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or other Business-related field, and at least 7 years of experience in Cost Accounting/Manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have strong understanding of cost accounting and manufacturing activities, excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills in English, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and across organizational boundaries to reach consensus.

Estimated Salary:

$80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
