Software Architect

About the Role

Born digital, UST is a mission-driven group of skilled professionals and creative thinkers in over 30+ countries. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will lead the solution delivery and implementation for programs and projects.

Responsibilities

1. Mainly interfaces with product owners and key stakeholders.
2. Works and implements an agile/scrum & DevOps processes, continuous integration and automated testing frameworks.
3. Troubleshoots and resolves performance issues in the server components, DB components and UI.
4. Works with Product Team to ensure user stories that are developer-ready, easy to understand, and testable.
5. Writes custom code or scripts to do 'destructive testing' to ensure adequate resiliency in production.
6. Adheres to maintenance plans/timelines, project plans/timelines, support plan summaries and production requirements documents.
7. Participates and leads in learning activities around modern software design and development core practices.
8. Increases business acumen by learning about other parts of the business.

Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in information services or related field.

Minimum five years experience of development and system design which provides the necessary skills, knowledge, and abilities.

Extensive knowledge and understanding of computer systems architecture and design, computer industry trends and project management.

Expertise with cloud technologies (Azure, O365, AWS), SharePoint (2013+), .NET Core, and Dynamics.

Able to develop new systems with .NET / ASP.NET / C#.NET / SQL Server / Microsoft CRM Web Services.
