**Job Description**
As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Endava, you will be key to the Application Management team, overseeing software application lifecycles. Your duties include deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and optimization to meet business needs and deliver value. You will automate deployment with CI/CD pipelines and establish monitoring solutions to proactively resolve issues, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
**Responsibilities:**
- **Architect and Implement DevOps Pipelines and Infrastructure**: Design and build scalable and secure DevOps pipelines and infrastructure to support the application lifecycle.
- **Collaborate with Development Teams**: Work closely with development teams to improve and create CI/CD processes, ensuring seamless integration and deployment.
- **Manage and Optimize Cloud-Based Environments**: Oversee and optimize cloud-based environments in AWS and Azure, ensuring efficient resource utilization and scalability.
- **Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC)**: Leverage Terraform to automate deployments and ensure consistency across environments.
- **Orchestrate and Manage Containerized Applications**: Use Kubernetes to orchestrate and manage containerized applications, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
- **Administer and Maintain Repositories and CI/CD Pipelines**: Manage and maintain repositories and CI/CD pipelines, ensuring smooth deployment and testing.
- **Troubleshoot and Resolve Infrastructure and Deployment Issues**: Identify and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
- **Ensure System Scalability, Reliability, and Security**: Design and implement systems that ensure scalability, reliability, and security, meeting business requirements and industry standards.
- **Provide Input on Ways to Improve the Environment**: Contribute to the improvement of the environment, suggesting ways to enhance stability, security, efficiency, and scalability.
- **Apply Good Communication Skills**: Communicate effectively with team members and clients, ensuring seamless collaboration and project delivery.
**Qualifications:**
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps and cloud infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience building and managing AWS infrastructure.
- Proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
- In-depth knowledge of GitLab, Jenkins, or any CI/CD tool.
- Excellent scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python, or similar).
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience participating in project discovery sessions with stakeholders.
- Experience leading teams.
- Certifications in AWS, Azure, or DevOps.
