Cobol Developer

Innova Solutions is seeking a skilled Cobol Developer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Cobol programming language and business processes. Key responsibilities include designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software programming applications and components. The Cobol Developer will work closely with the scrum team, participate in all scrum ceremonies, and provide inputs during grooming of user stories. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for integrating well with agile Multi-vendor environment and experience working in global environment. The role also involves performing unit testing and support other testing phases, reviewing and discussing briefs with key personnel assigned to projects, and configuring clustered and distributed scalable parallel environments. Required skills include 4 years plus DB2 experience/JCL, English conversational, and good knowledge of Amsysy, Healthcare, Control – M, Oracle DB, Mongo DB,.Net, Perl, Shell Scripts, API's, C##, Java, Suprtool, and SQL. Good to have skills include knowledge of Claim Lifecycle, and experience working with Pre-paid legal & ID theft protection, Sick time, and other types of paid leaves (as required by law).
