Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain manufacturing engineering documentation as required, including manufacturing changes, parameter sheets, and validation documentation.
- Collaborate with the validation technical team to ensure alignment on project activities.
- Drive initiatives aimed at enhancing process efficiency and effectiveness.
- Deliver regular updates on project progress and assigned tasks.
- Identify and propose process improvement projects to boost productivity across production lines.
- Focus on minimizing variation and waste in welding operations.
- Implement continuous improvement strategies within the welding process.
- Conduct internal audits in accordance with CQI15 standards for laser and friction welding processes.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic, or Metallurgy Engineering.
- Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC) tools.
- Knowledge of problem-solving methodologies, such as Green Belt, Black Belt, or Red X.
- Proficiency in CAD software, including Mechanical Desktop, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Inventor.
- Experience in mechanical/tooling design and assembly.
- Understanding of technical drawings and tolerances.
- Basic knowledge of electrical and pneumatic systems.
- Competence in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, Word, and SharePoint.
- Desirable knowledge of PLC systems.
- Strong customer focus and teamwork skills.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities.
- Able to perform effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in English (reading, writing, and speaking) at an 80% level.
