**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning and Analysis Systems Administrator and Analyst to join our team at General Motors. As a key member of our FP&A team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data and systems.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Perform all necessary month-end close and database maintenance activities for the Volume Repository, including user support and issue resolution.
  • Stewardship over all aspects of Volume Repository security, including role provisioning, addition/deletions, reviewing security groups, and performing security audits.
  • Work with a high level of independent capability and initiative, adjusting daily workloads to shift for competing business priorities, and completing assignments without undue supervision.
  • Root cause and perform ad hoc workarounds with little to no preparation to support requests and queries from respective volume business partners.
  • Recognize patterns to anticipate and proactively avoid recurring symptoms from occurring further.
  • Identify opportunities and implement solutions to streamline processes and procedures to reduce close times.
  • Partner with business teams to understand and develop requirements for volume database enhancements, developing, designing, and partnering with IT to implement system solutions based on requirements.
  • Lead all Volume Repository Parallel Testing with business partners, identifying key users and leading efforts to complete parallel testing efforts.

**Additional Skills**

  • Project Management: Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently with minimal guidance/supervision.
  • Ability to relate project with business objectives and results, integrate with business purpose.
  • Proactively collect sufficient information to resolve issues and move project tasks forward.
  • Analyze problems from more than one point of view and able to provide alternatives to complex problems.

**Teamwork/Leadership Skills**

  • Ability to collaborate with IT, FP&A, Accounting, and Program Management functions.
  • Able to independently work with a sense of urgency to finish the assignment without undue supervision.
  • Ensure lessons learned are applied to future situations promoting continuous improvement.
  • Work productively in the face of ambiguity or uncertainty.

**Desired Qualifications**

  • Bachelor's degree with a major in Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems.
