With a strong background in data science and experience in senior roles, you'll be responsible for translating business requirements into technical specifications and defining data standards and principles.

Salary

Our estimated salary range for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on your experience and qualifications. This figure includes a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth.

Job Description

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Translating business requirements into technical specifications, including state diagrams and transitions, integrating transformations, data security, and lifecycle consistent with PCI and PII standards.
  • Defining the data architecture framework, standards, and principles, including modeling, metadata security, reference data, performance characteristics, and analysis.
  • Supporting data development needs across several teams, working closely with stakeholders, partners, vendors, development teams, and upper management.
  • Reviewing data access and models used by development teams when implementing solutions reliant on data.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A college degree in data science or a strongly related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in a data-related field, with expertise in Microsoft SQL, SSRS, and Service Broker servers.
  • Advanced skills in SQL, including stored procedures and performance tuning, high concurrency OLTP.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to produce technical documentation.
