Job Title: Electromechanical Sr Design Engineer

Schneider Electric is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Electromechanical Sr Design Engineer to join our team at Parque PIIT Apodaca. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development of LV Equipment Busway offer.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in design and development of electromechanical products
  • Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering degree
  • Master's degree desired
  • General knowledge of manufacturing processes
  • Experience with Agile design process (Scrum & Kanban) desired
  • Experience in creating FMEA's, DFA's, DFM's, and Risk Analysis
  • Experience with analytical tools
  • Experience with CAD packages, Creo preferred
  • Experience in a new product development environment and understanding of gated product development processes and product life cycle
  • Good understanding of manufacturing processes, material properties, and design of plastic parts, mechanism design, sheet metal parts, dielectric, and conductive components design
  • Self-motivated, team & customer oriented, adaptable
  • Managing multiple activities, excellent written, organizational, communication, and behavioral skills
  • Work well in a cross-functional project team environment
  • Ability for influence and convince
  • Good communication skills (business English conversations)
  • Desirable to have VISA B1/B2, travel 20% of the time to USA
