Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Silicon Test Engineer to join our team at North American Production Sharing De México. As a key member of our Product Development and Test Engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, validating, and characterizing leading-edge IPs for 5G products in advanced FinFET semiconductor process technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and operate Automated Test Equipment (ATE) to validate and debug new product functionality
  • Develop and characterize test hardware and software for high-performance SOC's
  • Release cost-effective production test solutions for mass manufacturing
  • Collaborate with IC Design, Software, Systems, and Operations engineering teams to ensure high-volume manufacturability of products

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in product development, test, and characterization engineering for high-performance SOC's
  • Domain knowledge in one or more areas, such as CPU, DRAM interfaces, high-speed Serdes, sensor validation, and test methodologies
  • Hands-on experience with Advantest 93K (ATE) and data analysis software (JMP, Exensio, etc.)
  • Basic experience with Python, C++, Java, and ARM architecture

Physical Requirements

  • Frequently transport equipment up to 5 lbs and perform tasks at various heights
  • Monitor and utilize computers and test equipment for more than 6 hours a day
  • Continuous communication with colleagues, customers, and vendors

Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Electrical/Computer, Information Systems, or related field
  • Experience with design for test (DFT) techniques and structural tests
  • Knowledge of CMOS Analog and Mixed-Signal circuits
