About the Role:
Jabil Circuit is a leading manufacturing solutions provider, and we're seeking a skilled Lean Six Sigma Process Improvement Lead to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving process improvements across our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and reduce waste in specific areas, such as delivery lead time (DL) efficiency.
- Coordinate the development of value stream maps (VSMs) and Kaizen workshops to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Conduct ergonomic studies and analyze proposed ideas for improvement in conjunction with industrial engineers to positively impact workstation ergonomics.
- Monitor and maintain a Lean Index to track progress and identify areas for further improvement.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and productivity improvement, and coordinate the implementation of these improvements.
- Assign workload and activities, and lead improvement projects based on the reduction of process variation (Six Sigma).
- Develop and implement error-proof devices in areas where opportunities are identified.
- Recommend and document methods to improve efficiency and reduce waste in materials and equipment.
- Apply, educate, promote, and spread the use of lean manufacturing tools across the organization.
- Participate actively in Lean Process Analysis (LPA), Quick Response Quality Control (QRQC), and Just-in-Time Operating System (JOS).
- Develop and document simulations to analyze the impact of improvements previously taken, if applicable.
