As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing and improving quality fundamentals, striving for standardization, and championing both quality and continuous improvement culture across our operation. You will interact directly with clients on quality, processes, and systems-related matters, developing and maintaining quality-related KPIs and a system of quality assurance & security programs compliance through document control and procedures according to ISO / CTPAT / OEA standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional teams in identifying and eliminating true root causes leading to customer complaints at the 3rd Party Logistics Warehouse.
- Develop, maintain, and control quality KPIs.
- Engage and interact on a cross-functional level across the facility to deploy quality improvement strategies and initiatives.
- Lead designated projects as a member of the site leadership team to deliver standards, processes, tools, and systems.
- Extensive data analysis and preparation of quality control reports to Management.
- Lead quality management reviews and periodic internal and external audits, derive recommendations and drive change from them.
- Maintain an ISO 9001-based quality & Security management system (CTPAT - OEA) across the entire facility.
- Monitor, identify, and correct non-conformity to internal quality / security standards.
- Conduct investigations and initiate corrective actions to resolve quality & security issues.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree within a relevant Science discipline.
- Knowledge and experience with ISO/OEA/CTPAT standards.
- 2-5 years' experience in a similar role.
- Experience leading teams and working with customers.
- Experience in troubleshooting difficult problems in a warehouse / logistics environment.
- Excellent project management and organization skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- ERP proficiency preferable.
