Transformation Senior Consultant for Organizational Design

We are seeking a highly skilled Transformation Senior Consultant to join our team at MX006 Mercer Human Resource Consulting S.A. de Cv. This role will be based in Mexico City and requires a hybrid work arrangement with at least three days of office presence per week.

Job Description

The Transformation Senior Consultant will take on project management responsibilities for standard transformation projects, working closely with the Transformation Leader. Key tasks include:

  • Acting as a primary point of contact for clients, focusing on their needs and challenges
  • Providing guidance and peer reviews for work consultants
  • Understanding how financials work within a consulting business
  • Managing 70% of project time and handling commercial issues for prospecting new sales the remaining 30%
  • Transforming companies through organizational redesigns, workload adjustments, and ensuring analyst employees complete tasks correctly
  • Project management, but not directly from HR
  • Working autonomously, without direct manager oversight, and collaborating with the Transformation Leader
Responsibilities

In addition to project management, the Transformation Senior Consultant will also:

  • Create and manage mid-scope proposals with limited supervision and contribute to large scope proposals
  • Develop own network and client relationships
  • Stay knowledgeable about products and services offered by Career Business
  • Contribute to business and intellectual capital development, innovate, and improve marketing activities (POVS, events)
  • Moderate and present topics during Jour Fixes and Team Calls
  • Take onboarding responsibilities for new colleagues and provide guidance and coaching to consultants
  • Proactively seek feedback to develop in the role as a Senior Consultant
Triggers for Advancement

To advance in this role, the Transformation Senior Consultant must consistently meet or exceed delivery and utilization targets, take on project management responsibilities for medium-large sized workstreams, demonstrate independent sales management skills, engage in proactive knowledge sharing, and display Mercer commitments regularly.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Organizational design, Organizational management, or Project management
  • 6-8 years of experience as a Transformation Consultant in a Big 4 or industry setting
  • Advanced English proficiency and Intermediate/Advanced Excel skills, with Macros desirable
  • Portuguese is highly desirable
Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is $150,000-$200,000, depending on location and experience.
