About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our team and work on our enterprise data warehouse. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing business requirements and designing solutions to support the enterprise data warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and document business requirements for the enterprise data warehouse.
  • Develop use cases and functional specifications for the data warehouse.
  • Work with IT teams to integrate data from various sources into the data warehouse.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for the enterprise data warehouse.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity for the enterprise data warehouse.
  • Provide support to end-users of the enterprise data warehouse.
  • Monitor and maintain the performance of the enterprise data warehouse.
  • Demonstrate compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job function.
  • Follow all Bank policies and procedures, compliance regulations, and complete all required training.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of Bank's written policies regarding applicable regulations.
  • May be asked to coach, mentor, or train others.
  • Actively learn, demonstrate, and foster the Umpqua corporate culture.
  • Take personal initiative and be a positive example for others to emulate.

Requirements

  • H.S Diploma/GED.
  • Bachelor's Degree in IT, MIS, Finance, Business, or related field.
  • 7-10 years of technical bank operations experience required.
  • 6+ years' experience with databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, or Snowflake preferred.
  • 2+ years' experience working with dimensional or relational database models preferred.
  • Knowledge of project management with Microsoft DevOps, bank operations, Microsoft Azure, and bank products.
  • Advanced knowledge of user acceptance testing methodologies and principles.
