We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Developer to join our team at Corning.

This role will involve designing, developing, and implementing Salesforce solutions to meet business requirements.

As a Senior Salesforce Developer, you will leverage your technical expertise to create scalable and efficient solutions that drive organizational success.

Key Responsibilities

Salesforce Development

  • Participate in Salesforce implementation projects across Sales and Service clouds, including CPQ.
  • Implement complex business logic and workflows to automate processes and enhance user experience.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Design and develop scalable and efficient Salesforce solutions that adhere to best practices, standards, and design patterns.

Integration and Data Management

  • Integrate Salesforce with external systems and third-party applications using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware tools, and custom integrations.
  • Design and implement data migration strategies to ensure accurate and seamless transfer of data between systems.

Technical Leadership

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Salesforce development & configuration best practices, tools, and technologies.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Provide level of effort (LOE) estimates for requirements, design, build, test, and deployment of technical solutions.

Collaboration and Communication

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including other technical leads, developers, business analysts, architects, and QA testers to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders, providing guidance and recommendations as needed.

Documentation and Training

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of Salesforce configurations and customizations and provide training and knowledge transfer to team members and end-users.

Continuous Improvement

  • Stay current with Salesforce releases, features, and updates, and evaluate their impact on existing solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and optimization within the Salesforce platform.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7+ years of experience in Salesforce development, with a focus on Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce Certifications required: Advanced Administrator & Platform Developer II.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, security model, and governor limits.
  • Experience with Salesforce integration tools and techniques (e.g., REST/SOAP APIs, Salesforce Connect, Middleware).
