About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Operations Manager to join our team at Gf Machining Solutions. As an Assistant Controller, you will play a critical role in supporting the Controller in financial analysis, budgeting, payroll, and financial reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete monthly financial reporting to our Swiss parent company
  • Ensure compliance with monthly tax reporting to the Mexican government
  • Oversee accounts receivable and collection of past due accounts
  • Assist with treasury, payroll, and human resources functions
  • Process all documents relating to machine rentals and consignments
  • Manage site machine logistics and inventory reconciliations
  • Oversee accurate and timely order processing and inventory import documentation
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in accounting or finance from a four-year college or university
  • 5 or more years related experience and/or training
  • CPA license and/or Master's degree preferred
  • Strong understanding of banking processes and financial data analysis
  • Working knowledge of national and local tax regulations and compliance reporting
  • Experience in managing payroll, with focus on streamlining accounting processes
  • Exemplary history of financial project management
  • Proficiency in English
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior operational financial management and controlling functions experience
  • Experience in internal controls, risk management, audit processes, legal and tax matters, process alignment, and improvement
  • Knowledge and proficient experience with Microsoft Office Systems, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of SAP, Great Plains, or similar software programs, as well as logistics and accounting software
