**Job Purpose:** Ensure the accurate fulfillment of customer demand while optimizing inventory levels. Plan production to maximize the utilization of resources and workflows. Procure components in the right quantity and at the right time using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems, meeting inventory targets. Collaborate with Inbound and Logistics teams to ensure the timely arrival of raw materials and maintain open communication with Customer Service regarding urgent orders and allocation.

**Key Responsibilities and Tasks:**

  • **Production Planning:** Manage stock levels of semi-finished and finished goods. Release planned orders and monitor daily production output. Conduct Supply and Operations Planning (S&OP) analysis and schedule production in enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. Maintain production master data and level production load.
  • **Outbound:** Monitor and control global sales and availability. Confirm and deliver sales orders. Maintain close communication with Fulfillment and Outbound Logistics teams to ensure excellent customer service.
  • **Inbound:** Order raw materials based on expected demand. Confirm and follow up on orders. Maintain purchase master data and cooperate closely with suppliers.
  • **Global Communication:** Ensure colleagues and stakeholders are informed and receive necessary information.
  • **Process Development and Optimization:** Document, evaluate, and develop processes. Implement best practices to achieve world-class logistics.

**Tools and Systems Used:** Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Lync, WebEx), Excel, Business Warehouse (BW), SharePoint, and Supply Chain Network (SCN)/Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) for updating order confirmations with suppliers.
