About the Role

As a Material Planner, you will be responsible for ensuring the integration of production schedule data with inventory and the bill of material to calculate purchase and shipping schedules for parts or components needed to build a product. You will also create and follow up on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) System, govern the MRP process with different areas, and identify and define training for the MRP System.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure integration of production schedule data with inventory and the bill of material to calculate purchase and shipping schedules for parts or components needed to build a product.
  • Create and follow up on KPIs for the MRP System.
  • Govern the MRP process with different areas.
  • Identify and define training for the MRP System.
  • Apply inventory adjustments.
  • Calculate cycle count plans annually, considering the ABC classification.
  • Create and follow indicators for inventory accuracy.
Requirements

To thrive in this role, you will need a bachelor's degree in business administration, commerce, industrial engineering, or a similar field. You should have at least one year of experience and intermediate to advanced English language skills. Knowledge of inventory, planning, logistics, or manufacturing is essential, as is experience with software such as MS Office, SAP, and MRP.
