You will work with global teams to analyze, address, and resolve technical product failures, focusing on customer satisfaction and ongoing improvement.
Key Duties:
Product Quality & Corrective Action Process
Develop and implement the Nilfisk Product Quality reporting system and Corrective Action procedures.
Provide training and guidance on the Technical Failure Reporting (TFR) system and the 8D problem-solving methodology.
Lead cross-functional Quality Action Teams (QATs) to effectively resolve quality-related issues.
Drive initiatives to reduce customer complaints and associated quality costs.
Analyze global product quality data to prioritize issues for resolution.
Oversee the resolution of significant product quality challenges and support the Product Quality governance framework.
Quality Management System
Ensure adherence to global, regional, and local Quality Management System protocols.
Assist in the enhancement and upkeep of the Quality Management System.
Promote proactive and preventive quality control measures.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of PFMEA/Control Plans.
Qualifications & Skills:
MS/BS in Engineering or a related field.
4-5 years of experience in the design, testing, or manufacturing of industrial or commercial products.
Expertise in structured problem-solving methodologies and quality tools.
Familiarity with statistical analysis software and the FMEA process.
Six Sigma/Lean Manufacturing qualifications are preferred.
Strong capabilities in problem investigation, analysis, and resolution.
Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and engine systems.
Excellent planning, coordination, and leadership abilities.
Exceptional customer focus and communication skills.
Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate within cross-functional teams.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
Working knowledge of ERP systems, such as SAP.
Familiarity with statistical analysis tools like Minitab.
Aptitude for learning new software applications.
Willingness to travel regionally and internationally as required.
Essential Requirements:
Advanced English proficiency for negotiation, reporting, and leading discussions with key suppliers.
