About the Role

As a Senior Power Integrity Engineer at Screenovate, you will be a key member of our Intel NEX Cloud Networking team, responsible for delivering best-in-class Ethernet products that power the cloud and billions of smart, connected computing devices.

We are seeking a dynamic and flexible individual to work directly with high design, system, and pre/post-silicon teams within the organization. As a fundamental part of the Hardware Engineering (HWE) group, you will lead the power integrity solution design for our Foundational Network Interface Cards (FNIC) products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Modeling of PCB and Package PDN, running PI simulations, and noise analysis and post-Si PI characterization content definition.
  • Perform power integrity analysis using various simulation tools, provide feedback, and recommend supply noise design solutions, IR drop, VRM performance analysis, and measurement-based behavior modeling.
  • Design voltage regulators solutions to meet power requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field, with a minimum of 6 years of experience, or Master's degree with 4 years of experience, or PhD with 2 years of experience.
  • Experience with CAD tools: Cadence Allegro or Mentor Expedition, or equivalent.
  • Experience with Spice simulation.
  • Experience in decoupling tradeoffs and layout techniques for PCB.
  • Experience in DC and transient droop analysis.
  • Experience with voltage regulators.
  • Advanced English language proficiency.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Solid understanding of Power Integrity concepts.
  • SSO simulation experience is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with EDA tools: Sigrity PowerSI, Ansys SIwave, or equivalent.
  • Familiar with current profile generation (Icc) process.
  • Experience in Power noise/jitter simulation.
  • Experience in ESD analysis familiar with Calibre PERC tool is a definite plus.
