Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Trade Compliance Specialist to join our team at Oil And Gas Job Search Ltd. As a Trade Compliance Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing and delivering effective trade operations, managing multiple projects and issues simultaneously, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee Import / Export activities, including legal requirements and customs procedures.
  • Manage entire operations transitions from foreign locations to Mexico, including all Logistics aspects (Trade, Transportation, Warehousing, Packaging and others).
  • Run CTPAT / OEA Monthly/Annual Assessments accordingly.
  • Support Company Audits and Government Audits.
  • Follow up and update Customs procedures.
  • Elaborate / Audit Anexo 24 & 31 monthly reports.
  • Coordinate brokers activities for customs clearance when required.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable Customs laws (Global adherence).
  • Enforce duty savings.
  • Support new Customs/Logistics initiatives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Trade, Customs, International Law, or related field.
  • Customs or Foreign Trade Operations experience - Inventory Control, Supervision, and Leader Experience.
  • Advanced English language skills.
  • Five years of experience as a Trade Compliance Analyst or equivalent.
  • OEA CTPAT certification.
  • Five years of experience managing asset controls (Customs) Management of Annex 24, Annex 22 or Annex 30 system.
  • Proficiency on Customs and MRP Systems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience on tariff classification, customs valuation, and defining country of origin.
  • Experience establishing new Trade Operations.
  • Previous interactions with SAT on site audits.
  • Problem solving and strong analytical skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent customer service.
