Job Description: Accounting and Finance ProfessionalWe are seeking an experienced Accounting and Finance Professional to join our team as a Senior Financial Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of accounting activities across the Accounting organization, including the preparation of monthly accounting records, related reporting, analytical activities, and initiatives.
Main Responsibilities:
- Collaborate on the preparation and entering of journal entries
- Participate in balance sheet reconciliations
- Follow the company's chart of accounts
- Organize month-end and year-end close process
- Analyze current financial status and provide recommendations for improvement
- Identify errors and collaborate on ways to improve efficiency and spending
- Participate in reviewing and recommending modifications to accounting systems and procedures
- Assist with financial statements and supplemental schedules
- Document business processes to ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A university degree in Accounting or related field (or equivalent relevant work experience)
- Strong communication skills; oral, written, and presentation
- Strong organization, planning, and time management skills to achieve results
- Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
- Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
