Position Overview

Joining Intuitive Surgical means becoming part of a team dedicated to leveraging technology to benefit patients by enhancing surgical effectiveness and reducing surgical invasiveness, with patient safety as our utmost priority.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate business workflows, conduct fit-gap analyses as necessary, and provide ISI business teams with cost-effective proposals addressing inefficiencies and risks to determine suitable process and system designs.
  • Develop functional specifications and collaborate with cross-functional and development teams to deliver technical solutions.
  • Review and contribute to design documents, configuration documents, and functional specifications.
  • Execute unit and integration testing as well as regression testing.
  • Support ISI's operational processes and all related business systems functions.
  • Collaborate with ISI IT and business teams to optimize and streamline business workflows and technical solutions.
  • Identify discrepancies between current and future states of business processes and assist in prioritizing opportunities for improvement using the Business Capability Matrix (BCM).
  • Engage in business user meetings to gather process information for effective system solutions.
  • Work closely with the development team during the development phase to ensure business needs are met.
  • Assist business teams with reporting requirements in conjunction with the data warehouse team.
  • Conduct quality assurance validations and participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Support, assist, and train users on new or modified system configurations, emphasizing the impact on business processes.
  • Maintain IT business system integrity and documentation, including system upgrades, changes, and user updates.
  • Collaborate closely with onsite and offshore teams, managers, and executives to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.

Adhere to the Intuitive change management process and analyze the impact of changes on the corporate application landscape.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in designing and configuring PP modules, with knowledge of key integrations between other SAP modules (MM and QM experience is a plus).
  • Hands-on experience in Manufacturing, MRP (planning), Demand management, and Inventory management.
  • Proven track record in implementing repetitive manufacturing business processes supporting make-to-order and stock-to-order processes.
  • Prior experience with global organizations and multilingual environments.
  • Production Execution: Must be proficient in Production Planning Master Data, Production Order Types, and Production Order and Process Order Confirmation, with a working knowledge of PP/MM/WM integration and various order execution configurations.
  • Experience collaborating with business end users, gathering requirements, and creating detailed functional design specifications.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision or guidance.
  • Strong teamwork skills, effectively interacting with others.
  • Capable of working independently while considering cross-functional and downstream impacts with close attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
