Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Labor Relations Specialist to support our supply chain operations at our Celaya plant. The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in labor relations or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in human resources or employee relations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide guidance and advice to management during labor relations contract negotiations, including drafting proposals and facilitating meetings with union representatives.
  2. Communicate effectively with managers, executives, and union representatives to create a positive working environment and address worker grievances.
  3. Manage labor grievances by investigating circumstances, validity of claims, adherence to contract policies, and completion of resolution procedures.
  4. Coordinate with HR and other departments to create and sustain positive employee relations and facilitate effective communications between employees and management.
  5. Support management during crisis situations, such as labor strikes, to facilitate effective negotiations and resolve issues quickly.
  6. Develop engagement plans to strengthen associate retention and support personnel administration on site.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in labor relations or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-year experience in human resources or employee relations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with conflict resolution experience.
  • Team player.
