Avery Dennison is seeking a highly skilled MRO Planner to join our team. As a key member of our Supply Chain department, you will be responsible for procuring high-quality materials and services to support our operations.
Key Responsibilities- Procurement and Sourcing: Identify, assess, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best quality, service, and value for our organization.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels, monitor reorder points, and initiate action to replenish stock as needed.
- Purchasing and Logistics: Transact purchases of goods and services, including maintenance, repair, and operations materials, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
- Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of procurement and inventory management activities.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve procurement and inventory management processes, and implement changes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Materials and Logistics, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in procurement, inventory management, or a related field, with a strong understanding of purchasing techniques and logistical supply chain principles.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in WMS/ERP systems.
- Language: Bi-lingual ability (English/Spanish) preferred.
