Exceptional Opportunity for a DevOps Lead on GCP


We are excited to invite talented professionals to join our team at Cognizant as a DevOps Lead for Google Cloud Platform (GCP) projects.


About the Role:



  • As a DevOps Lead, you will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality projects on GCP, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution.
  • You will build and maintain strong relationships with Customer Project Managers and key stakeholders, ensuring customer satisfaction and happiness.
  • Additionally, you will oversee people processes in the project, fostering a collaborative environment.

Key Qualifications:



  • Minimum 2 years of experience in GCP and DevOps or GCP with Docker/Kubernetes as a lead.
  • Expertise in GCP core services, including Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, and GKE.
  • Proficiency in Linux administration and scripting, as well as containerization using Docker, K8s, and GKE.
  • Familiarity with GCP security standards, such as IAM and data ex-filtration.

Desired Skills:



  • Experience with availability and scalable applications, as well as distributed systems.
  • Proficiency in software languages, such as Node.js, React.js, and Python, and familiarity with DevOps pipelines and associated tools.
  • Database skills from a developer's perspective.
  • Microservices backend experience, front-end exposure, and cloud-native design patterns.
