Senior Frontend Software Development Engineer

As a Senior Software Development Engineer at Zillow, you will lead the delivery and ongoing support of projects from end-to-end. Your expertise in modern development technologies such as HTML, CSS, ES6, React, and Typescript will be essential in designing, delivering, debugging, and maintaining front-end user interfaces.
You will contribute to the design of new features, review the code of your peers, advocate for standard methodologies, facilitate engineering discussions, mentor junior engineers, and participate in an inclusive, energetic, and highly multi-functional team.
This role has been categorized as a teleworker position, allowing you to work from a physical location of your choice. You will be expected to travel to Mexico City occasionally for office events.
Requirements- 5+ years of software development experience or relevant transferable skills
- Highly skilled with modern development technologies
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- Authorized to work in Mexico
- Highly skilled with multiple modern development technologies
- Recognized as a technical leader on your team for several years
- Passionate about setting standard methodologies and raising the bar for systems design, testing, code quality, and maintainability
- Experience with non-traditional backgrounds is valued
