Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Fa Technician to join our team at Sanmina. As a key member of our production electronics factory, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of VES products, working closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality teams to implement corrective actions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and root-cause analysis for VES products
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions
- Work with VES Quality for customer FA/8D reporting
- General Test and Repair for RMA products
- Manage the test area to ensure necessary equipment is in place, calibrated, and in good working condition
- Provide training to factory debug staff for level 1 and 2 debug and problem analysis
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience working on a server or data storage-based products in a hands-on test and troubleshooting role
- Working knowledge of server and storage products
- Basic Linux OS and scripting experience
- Knowledge of network cabling, routing, and setup
- Experience working in a production electronics factory
- Experience working in an ESD controlled environment
- Experience working in an environment requiring traceable calibrated equipment and the ability to manage calibration schedule and services
Preferred Skills:
- Proficient in English speaking, reading, and writing
- Ability to read schematics, BOMs, and understand PCB layout with Cadence (Allegro) PCB design tool
- Understanding of common manufacturing processes, including Functional Test, In-Circuit Test, Flying Probe, and common assembly techniques
- Working experience with Failure Analysis and 8D processes and objectives
- Proficiency with Windows and common Office products used to communicate findings
