MRI Bookkeeper Expert

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced MRI bookkeeper to join our team at Rea Services LLC. As a key member of our accounting department, you will assist with various bookkeeping and accounting tasks for our clients in the real estate industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly bookkeeping tasks, including bank reconciliations, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
• Support client communication and inquiries under the guidance of senior bookkeepers
• Contribute to the month-end closing process and report generation
• Assist with new property set-ups, move-outs, owner draws, and management fees

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• At least 1 year of experience working with MRI software
• At least 1 year of experience in real estate accounting/finance, ideally at an accounting firm working on real estate clients or directly at a real estate investment/development company
• Solid understanding of real estate accounting principles
• Experience with AP/AR and Bank Reconciliations
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Intermediate English verbal and written skills

Location and Schedule

This is a virtual (remote), full-time role that demands availability between 8am-5pm CST Monday-Friday.

Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is $273,258.00 - $389,434.00.
