Main Responsibilities
  • Identify and acquire data from various sources, including internal databases, external vendors, and new data sources, to support business intelligence and reporting.
  • Organize and cleanse the data to remove quality issues, combine data sources, and provide relevant information, including developing samples used to create analytics models or reports.
  • Develop ad hoc reports and visualizations that support data-driven decision-making.
  • Work on new data provisioning solutions, explore new ways of organizing data, and focus on developing sustainable data usage for designated stakeholders, including access, costs, and organization processes.
  • Participate in creating analytics models by applying data knowledge throughout the modeling process to ensure the data is valid, accurate, and applicable for the intended usage.
  • Support data governance activities by acting as a data steward or custodian of certain data elements.
Requirements
  • Fluent English language skills.
  • Programming skills necessary to create and maintain applications.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis, economics, and trend forecasting.
  • Understanding of various functions within respective business.
  • Knowledge of advanced data gathering and analysis techniques, including statistical analysis.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python, VBA, and SQL.
  • Experience working with databases, including DB2 and SAP HANA.
  • Dashboards development and visualization tools, including Tableau and PowerBI.
  • Experience with Power Automate/Power Apps.
  • Experience with SAP.
  • Business acumen.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Databricks knowledge.
Education
  • Degree in an Information Technology discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Degree in a Statistics discipline or equivalent experience.
