Packaging Development for Automotive Industry

We are seeking a skilled Packaging Development Specialist to join our team at Inalfa Roof Systems. As a world-leading supplier of OEM automotive roof systems, we are committed to delivering high-quality products and services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and validate packaging solutions for new and current programs
  • Ensure timely availability of packaging for new and currently running programs
  • Comply with product realization plan (PRP) for packaging deliveries
  • Generate and maintain documentation for customer and supplier packaging specifications
  • Establish communication with customers and suppliers to align packaging strategies
  • Implement and maintain packaging standards for suppliers and customers
  • Develop standard packaging guidelines for safety, quality, ergonomics, and material flow requirements
  • Carry out tests to improve current packaging
  • Work with suppliers to ensure packaging compliance with defined standards
  • Maintain the packaging database (PFEP) and update information for each part number
  • Coordinate special projects for continuous improvement and efficiency in packaging, its flow, and storage
  • Participate in project meetings, engineering changes, and logistics processes
  • Develop business cases for packaging cost savings projects
  • Follow up on activities defined with the regional and global Packaging teams
  • Provide support in material handling optimization projects and logistics improvement
  • Comply with information security requirements (Confidentiality, Integrity, Availability)
