Job Summary

The Industrial Property Operations Manager will oversee the management and operations of industrial properties in Querétaro. This role includes ensuring the smooth functioning and upkeep of facilities, while also developing strategies to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

The Property Manager will work closely with clients, contractors, and government agencies to ensure compliance with regulations and maintain high standards across all facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facility Management: Supervise and coordinate maintenance and operational activities to ensure optimal performance of industrial facilities.
  • Operational Strategy: Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Client Relationships: Manage relationships with key clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and addressing any operational issues promptly.
  • Budget Management: Oversee budget management, ensuring appropriate allocation of resources and cost control for operational expenses.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, including licenses, permits, safety policies, and environmental standards.
  • Park Presentation: Coordinate the presentation and upkeep of the industrial park, ensuring facilities are well-maintained and visually appealing.
  • Government Relations: Manage relationships with government agencies and regulatory entities to ensure legal and regulatory compliance.
  • Security and Safety: Supervise the security of operations, including the implementation of safety programs such as working at heights and civil protection measures.
  • Infrastructure Projects: Plan and execute major infrastructure maintenance projects within established timelines and budgets.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and report on operational performance, maintenance activities, and customer service to senior management, recommending continuous improvements.
  • Team Development: Mentor and develop the operational team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
  • Corporate Image: Ensure the proper management of the corporate image within the industrial park, overseeing aesthetics, signage, and accessibility.
Requirements

Required Skills:

  • Leadership and Team Management: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop the operations team.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to maintain and build client relationships.
  • Property Management Knowledge: Solid understanding of property management principles, including maintenance operations, safety regulations, and budget oversight.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Knowledge of local regulations, environmental policies, and compliance requirements.
  • Facility Operations: Proficient in coordinating facility operations and ensuring efficient resource allocation.
  • Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage complex issues effectively.
  • Budget Management and Performance Monitoring: Ability to manage budgets, monitor performance, and report operational outcomes to senior management.
  • Project Management: Project management experience, particularly in infrastructure development and large-scale maintenance activities.
  • Driver's License: Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle (mandatory).

Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Architecture, or related fields.
  • Postgraduate Degree: A postgraduate degree is desirable.

Experience:

  • Leadership Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in operations or facility management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Industrial Property Experience: Specific experience in managing industrial properties or commercial real estate is highly desirable.
