About the Role:
As a Manufacturing Operations Manager at Stryker Corporation, you will oversee and coordinate the activities in a production area to meet production goals, quality, and cost objectives. You will set and/or prioritize production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Implement production and large-scale manufacturing procedures to optimize processes and meet regulatory requirements.
- Review existing operational and process discrepancies in manufacturing and provide technical expertise to improve procedures.
- Continuously comply with related regulatory requirements.
- Supervise and coordinate activities through group leaders involved in one or more production tasks.
- Understand and maintain Key Performance Indicators for efficiency and performance.
- Monitor overhead, materials, hours, throughput, and ensure production is cost-effective.
- Manage timecards, time-off, and payroll adjustments for employees.
- Communicate job expectations, plan, monitor, and appraise job results.
- Promote engagement and lead impact planning activities to meet business key performance indicators.
- Train and/or coordinate training of personnel within assigned areas.
- Complete production plans by scheduling and assigning personnel.
- Analyze production programs and estimate man-hour requirements.
- Submit periodic reports and participate in Continuous Improvement Projects.
Requirements:
- 2+ years related manufacturing environment or experience.
- Engineering or other Professional Degree or Equivalent Experience.
- Intermediated English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Leadership Qualities.
- Good communication and supervisory skills.
Estimated Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000 per year
