Formulation Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Formulation Expert to join our team and contribute to the development of innovative products. The successful candidate will have a strong background in formulation and reformulation of food systems and operations at factory level.

• Co-create new reformulation opportunities to feed productivity pipeline (preliminary study, valorization with business case)
• Prototype validation at pilot scale
• Scale up formulation opportunities at industrial scale
• Follow up of designated projects to launch successfully (on time in full)
• Co-build the team deliverables along the year to capitalize internal strategic plan main KPIs

• Graduate studies in Engineering (Food, Chemistry) or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years experience in formulation and reformulation of food systems and operations at factory level (preferably food systems like Dairy, Plant Based, Beverages, Desserts)
• Pilot testing of different formulation alternatives
• Affinity with industrial trials, technical feasibility, and industrial floor hurdles
• Good knowledge of ingredients, flavors, stabilizers, milk science, unit operations
• Good analytical skills
• Good project management skills to manage own project agenda with transversal team members
• English proficiency (fluent speaking, writing & reading skills)
• Problem solving stage/gate process
• Flexibility to travel to other sites or Head Office
• Aware of customer and consumer insights

• An estimated salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum
