Job Description

Job Title: Admissions Coordinator - Student Journey Expert

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Admissions Coordinator to join our team at British Study Centres. As an Admissions Coordinator, you will be responsible for assessing, processing, and submitting applications for our students. You will ensure outstanding service levels throughout the student journey, providing excellent customer service and support to our students, their influencers, and partner agents.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Application Assessment: Accurately assess student applications to determine suitability for our courses.
  2. Application Processing: Ensure that applications comply with all entry requirement policies and procedures, as well as UKVI regulations.
  3. Documentation and Interviews: Complete all relevant documentation, pre-departure checks, and interviews as required.
  4. SLA Compliance: Ensure that applications are processed within the agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA) period, and that students, their influencers, and agents are provided with relevant information in a timely manner.
  5. Data Management: Ensure that quality data is recorded onto our student database to enable strong follow-up on applications at all stages of the student journey.
  6. Follow-up and Communication: Follow up on incomplete applications by internet call or other suitable means, and deal effectively with arising challenges, resolving complaints and escalating issues to the Admissions and Accommodation Manager.
  7. Stakeholder Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver repeat business.
  8. Policies and Procedures: Maintain a working knowledge of admissions policies, as well as UK Visa & Immigration policies and how these impact international students and British Study Centres.

Requirements:

  1. Experience: 2+ years' experience in a customer-service role.
  2. IT Proficiency: IT proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
  3. Language: Fluent in English.

Desirable Experience/Skills:

  1. Education Sector Experience: Previous experience in the education sector would be advantageous.
