Job Summary

The Training Rehabilitation And Development Institute is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating various projects and initiatives to ensure their successful completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Project Manager in overseeing the complete performance of contract requirements.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the customer, establishing and maintaining a quality control program according to contract requirements.
  • Perform daily quality control inspections on all work performed, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  • Supervise crew leaders, custodial and grounds personnel, and assist in the preparation and approval process of payroll.
  • Assist in the preparation of employees' performance evaluations, training, and development programs.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and other management members, preparing and submitting reports as required.
  • Attend employee meetings, ensuring TRDI employees, subcontractors, and vendors comply with all contractual requirements and government regulations.
  • Manage and maintain a contract budget, reviewing processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Schedule personnel, review and approve time cards, and manage inventory of supplies, equipment, and vehicles.
  • Set and guide employee expectations, review and counsel, and establish and implement process improvement plans.
  • Ensure standard work practices are followed for safety, providing training for operating equipment and vehicles, use of supplies, and the requirements of the performance work statement.
  • Assist in analyzing and maintaining the contract AbilityOne Ratio requirements through proper work scheduling of direct disabled employee hours vs non-disabled employee hours.
  • Assist in the completion of Limitation & Accommodation Quarterly Reports for each AbilityOne employee.
  • Facilitate the AbilityOne interview process and obtain medical documentation in coordination with the AbilityOne department.
  • Execute reports, inspections, and logs as required by the contract.
  • Provide field information and specifications to prepare estimates for new work added or deleted to the contract.
  • Obtain and maintain required security clearance and comply with the Drug-Free Workplace policy.
  • Adhere to Operations Security standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain the Property Control Plan for management of Government Furnished Property.
  • Maintain a safety and health program that complies with EM and applicable OSHA, DOD, Armed Forces, federal, state, and local safety, environmental, and health requirements.
  • Maintain a site-specific Accident Prevention Plan in accordance with Appendix A, EM.
Requirements
  • High school education or GED.
  • 5 years relevant work and leadership experience in a multi-location environment.
  • Strong ability to organize effectively, delegate responsibility, and solve problems quickly.
  • Experience leading high-performing teams.
  • Strong knowledge of Quality Control standards.
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively delegate and develop team members.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.
  • Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure.
  • Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills.
  • Basic knowledge of local, state, and federal employment laws and procedures.
  • Basic knowledge of wage and hour laws.
  • Extensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office Package (i.e., Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.).
