**Key Responsibilities**
Ensure the quality of incoming materials by performing visual and dimensional inspections, following applicable department procedures.
Document inspection results to maintain traceability at the finish goods level.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and guidelines.
- Conducting inspections using basic to moderate datums during complex fixture set-ups.
- Interacting with computer-based software to assist on inspection activities and record inspection results.
- Executing TINS activities for VR notification as required.
- Generating problem description presentations and uploading them to VR for engineering analysis.
- Creating VR quality notifications describing problems and inspection results when required.
- Performing first article inspections and route reports for approvals.
- Interpreting complex mechanical drawings to understand dimensional inspection characteristics.
- Reviewing supplier-provided documentation to evaluate its adequacy.
**Requirements:**
- High school diploma or technical studies.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in quality areas.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a quality inspector or related position.
- Fluency in Spanish and intermediate English skills.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP.
