As a Cloud Computing Architect, you will collaborate with our customers and partners to develop, deliver, and implement AI, IoT, and data analytics projects that help them leverage their data to drive business insights. You will work on-site with clients, leading teams through high-impact projects that utilize the latest data analytic technologies.
This is a customer-facing role that requires travel to client locations and delivering professional services when needed. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from migration of existing applications to development of new applications using AWS cloud services.
Key Responsibilities- Expertise: Collaborate with AWS field sales, pre-sales, training, and support teams to help partners and customers learn and use AWS services such as Athena, Glue, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB NoSQL, Relational Database Service (RDS), Amazon EMR, and Amazon Redshift.
- Solutions: Deliver on-site technical engagements with partners and customers, including participating in pre-sales on-site visits, understanding customer requirements, and creating packaged Data & Analytics service offerings.
- Delivery: Engagements include short on-site projects proving the use of AWS services to support new distributed computing solutions that often span private cloud and public cloud services.
- Insights: Work with AWS engineering and support teams to convey partner and customer needs and feedback as input to technology roadmaps. Share real-world implementations and recommend new capabilities that would simplify adoption and drive greater value from use of AWS cloud services.
- Innovate: Engage with the customer's business and technology stakeholders to create a compelling vision of a data-driven enterprise in their environment.
- Bachelor's degree or 7+ years of professional or technical specialist, design, and architecture experience.
- 5+ years of database experience (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Kinesis).
- 7+ years of consulting customer-facing, design, and implementation of serverless distributed solutions experience.
- 3+ years of cloud and on-premise integration experience and integration, testing, and automation experience.
- 3+ years of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) experience and cloud-based solution (AWS or equivalent), system, network, and operating system experience.
- 5+ years of software development with object-oriented language experience.
- Experience with GenAI.
