As a Lighting Application Specialist, you will work closely with cross-functional Signify team members to develop tailored solutions for our customers. You will participate in customer projects through all phases from design to proposal through completion, primarily involved in design applications/solutions and assisting in proposal development of high-value/high-complexity projects under direct supervision.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and design lighting for interior, site and area, exterior and roadway applications.
- Review/verify design, schematics, and drawings.
- Work with calculation programs like DIALUX, AutoCAD.
- Develop technical expertise to support sales colleagues.
- Work with internal/external stakeholders to support the creation of proposals and quotations.
- Aid in the development of project-specific drawings to support commissioning and installation.
- Routinely review and update technical documentation for the development of proposals and/or process-improvement projects.
- Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture or similar technical discipline.
- Advanced English language proficiency (written and verbal).
- Ability to interpret architectural/electrical drawings.
- Advanced/intermediate AutoCAD skills desirable.
