- Manage daily operations and assist the Plant Controller with fixed assets, cost management, accounting, accounts payable, VAT recovery, taxation, and financial planning & analysis.
- Support the monthly closing processes for entities, including Maquila billing, journal entries, and account trend evaluations.
- Drive and implement ongoing process enhancements.
- Ensure accurate balance sheet account reconciliations.
- Prepare timely support documentation to guarantee accurate financial representation.
- Identify and recommend corrective measures to address discrepancies.
- Guarantee compliance with statutory reporting and various tax obligations.
- Oversee the fixed asset process, ensuring prompt capitalization of assets.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline. A minimum of 5+ years of experience in a role such as Assistant Plant Controller or Junior Plant Controller. Proven experience in managing teams. Proficient in English communication, both written and verbal. Familiarity with SAP is essential.
