About the Role
Ramboll is seeking a highly skilled Environmental Consultant to join our team in Monterrey. As a key member of our Environmental Health and Safety team, you will be responsible for conducting environmental site assessments and compliance reviews for commercial, industrial, and multi-site portfolios.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct environmental site assessments and compliance reviews for commercial, industrial, and multi-site portfolios.
- Review and summarize regulatory requirements for environmental compliance and prepare technical reports on findings.
- Analyze site investigation reports, assess contamination, and develop scopes of work for remediation activities.
- Provide conclusions, opinions, and recommendations to clients, including attorneys, lenders, developers, and industrial clients.
- Support multiple projects, including site visits, permitting activities, and international due diligence for large infrastructure projects.
Requirements
- A minimum of a BA or BS in Geology, Engineering (Civil, Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical, Civil or Geologic Engineering), Environmental Science or Environmentally-related field from an accredited institution.
- 1+ years of experience in environmental consulting.
- An understanding of the Phase I ESA requirements and the due diligence process.
- Possess knowledge of multi-media environmental compliance topics and general understanding of Mexican federal and state regulations.
- Classwork or experience with site assessment and investigation, contaminant fate and transport, pollution control and design, regulatory policy, and GIS mapping a plus.
- Willingness/ability to travel up to 40% of the time on average during the year and possess a valid driver's license and a passport.
