About the Role:
The Maintenance Coordinator will oversee the proper functioning and maintenance of manufacturing equipment and technologies in a plant. This includes assessing equipment performance, identifying improvement opportunities, and implementing performance improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with equipment vendors to schedule routine or preventive maintenance and coordinate across functions.
- Monitor warranties and work closely with engineering and suppliers to troubleshoot equipment and manufacturing processes.
- Identify recurring problems and recommend corrective measures.
- Supervise a team of equipment maintenance specialists and their individual and team performance.
Requirements:
- Supervise maintenance employee outcomes by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees.
- Meet maintenance operational standards by implementing production, productivity, quality, customer-service, safety, security, and health standards.
- Evaluate systems and equipment performance by conferring with operating departments and identifying problems and requirements.
- Keep systems and equipment operating by implementing a preventive maintenance program and operating and testing systems and equipment.
- Improve systems and equipment performance by studying performance results and identifying, recommending, and implementing changes, expansions, and additions.
- Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by adhering to organization standards and policies and to legal regulations.
- Prepare maintenance information and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
